Senate Leadership
The Senate Leadership of the University at Albany Student Association comprises key individuals who guide and manage the Senate's operations and decision-making processes. The Clerk is responsible for documenting the minutes of each meeting. The Secretary organizes these meetings and ensures procedural adherence. The Chair directs the Senate, leading discussions and setting the agenda. The Vice-Chair assists in these tasks and leads in the Chair's absence, helping maintain effective representation of student interests.

Jaden Burke currently serves as the Chair of the UAlbany Student Association Senate.
Jaden brings a wealth of institutional knowledge, a passion for advocacy, and a deep commitment to student governance reform to the role.
She is a Law and Government Senator and a past Rules and Administration Committee Chair. During her tenure as Rules Chair, Jaden championed administrative transparency and institutional accountability. Her extensive work managing the comprehensive Bylaw and Handbook Revamp has made her a key architect of the Senate’s modern operational structure, ensuring that student government remains accessible, efficient, and responsive to the student body.
As Senate Chair, Jaden is dedicated to fostering a collaborative legislative environment, empowering student leaders, and bridging the gap between students and administrative leadership to ensure every voice on campus is heard.
